Filling guidance for Using

 

During wet grinding process, when charge balls up to 50%-55% net volume of ball mill, the best status can be realized, and the weight of balls within the ball mill can be estimated with formula.

 

G=3.14*(R-H)2*(L-2H)*P*(50%~55%)*(1-25%~30%)

 

G:charge of alumina ball               P:Density of ball

H:Thickness of lining brick            L:Length of ball mill

R:Inside radium of ball mill

Attention:(1) 50%-55%:Best status of grinding, the net volume of balls inside ball mill.

                (2)25%-30%:Inside space of ball mill.

                (3)below calculation for ball mill capacity should be larger than 3 tons only.

 

Alumina Ball Ratio

 

According to the different size of alumina balls, the charging should be depending on ball mill capacity and grinding materials. Therefore, bigger size ball should be properly increased for larger grains and high strength raw materials and small size balls should be reduced accordingly.
